Whispers of the north

I seem to be in scarf mode lately, like a squirrel gathering nuts for the impending winter.  Only I am gathering malabrigo and zauberball!  I have a line up in my Ravelry queue that will keep me knitting all fall and into the winter.  I love the triangular style scarves that have been flooding onto Ravelry lately.  The other day I started Daybreak by Stephen West.  I am using the brown Malabrigo sock yarn that was left over from my last project, Ulmus, and combining it with Noro Silk Garden sock.  I am loving the combination of rich reddish brown and autumn oranges and pinks.

Perfect for the fall and more importantly sweater weather, which is just around the corner.
