Cornwall

Olive and I are resting in St Ives and have taken a few side trips to see the local sights.  And there is so much to see.  So many beaches we have lost count.  We have had picnics and knit on the beach while slowly breathing in the sea air and sipping hot english tea from thermos flasks.   We’ve eaten cornish pasties and fish and chips at the local pubs.  And we’ve spent many happy hours browsing in the shops and passing the time of day with any locals we happen upon.

We took a tour of The New Forest.  This is a National Park of over 70,000 acres that is made up of moors, heathland, unfenced pasture land and forest.  We have gone back and spent many days walking some of the many pathways throughout the park.          So beautiful.

My third shawl design will be coming soon.  It was inspired by the Cornish Coast, the beaches and the moors and forest.
